Lawyer – IP/IT

We are looking for ambitious and rigorous talents who want to contribute to the creation of tomorrow’s standards.

Within the firm, the lawyer will be involved in a variety of transactional contexts (Venture Capital/Private Equity/M&A), for French and foreign clients, on the following assignments:

  • general assistance to D’Ornano + Co teams through legal research on technical and practical issues;
  • participation in support missions in the context of the validation/information of an investment thesis in connection with the firm’s financial teams, in particular on technological assets, consisting of (i) identifying the main past IP/IT/Personal Data risks and the significant IP/IT/Personal Data issues of the business models analyzed and (ii) assisting the client in its negotiation strategy;
  • participation in the drafting of legal and transactional documentation;
  • post-deal support: drafting and negotiating IP and IT contracts, setting up an IP strategy (trademark registration, pre-litigation), advising on personal data protection…

You will work closely with our finance teams to provide our clients with a unique dual perspective. Your work will help confirm or deny an investment decision and shed light on the key issues of the deal.

You have a first-class academic background, previous experience as a trainee in a law firm, company, or investment fund or even as an associate in a business law firm.

You have a perfect command of written and spoken English.

You are daring, creative and have a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Your rigour and intellectual curiosity are no longer in question, as is your ability to create a positive and effective team dynamic to successfully complete projects.

You want to join a human adventure and contribute with your talent and enthusiasm within a dynamic structure that offers opportunities for growth and development.

You share our values – action, intelligence, ambition, confidence, courage – and wish to actively contribute to the development of d’Ornano + Co. in Paris.
