Raphaëlle d’Ornano, Founder and Managing Partner at D’Ornano + Co., was invited to participate on an all-female panel at SuperReturn Berlin 2022. Fellow panelists included Cecile Levi, Head of Private Debt, Tikehau Capital; Karen Simeone, Managing Director, HarbourVest Partners; Manon Mendez, Principal, Blackstone Credit; and Sasha Jensen, Founder and CEO, Jensen Partners. If the direct link between implementation of DE&I measures and financial performance is difficult to trace, Raphaëlle d’Ornano insisted on the need to put in place initiatives and frameworks to foster and evaluate DE&I, which is recognized as a driver of long-term performance. Conscious of the need to consider ESG, the firm has integrated E, S, and G into its holistic due diligence approach in addition to financial, legal, and operational indicators to fully capture the intrinsic value and resilience of High-growth and Disruptive companies.
